apology and a proper post

i really can't believe it's almost the end of week 5 and its been forever since i updated! sorry about that!

things have maybe been more hectic than usual, but its mostly me getting used to living self-catered. cooking ain't easy people, i'll tell you that! not only is it time consuming, it's also takes a lot of effort. and it definitely sucks when after all that, you don't get the results you want.

OKAY before we become a cooking blog (i'll deal with that in my own time hopefully!) so whats new? it's diwali today!! So Happy Diwali and Bandhi Chor everyone! really missing the home celebrations but i'm trying to get a different sort of experience here so hopefully will be enjoyable as well!

academically speaking, loads going on in class, doing physiology and pharmacology of kidneys, endrocrine system, alimentary system and nutrition. but the killer is yet again - anatomy! weekly dissections so far have been alright but a glance at future sessions tells me it's going to get really really difficult! I think we've pretty much covered the abdomen, which i enjoyed, and this week onwards we're moving to the bony pelvis and its contents! which reminds me, loads to read before dissection tomorrow :( and its diwali today of all days!

anyways will hopefully save the celebrations for the weekend then ;)

got some exciting stuff lined up the next few weekends but will keep them a mystery so i will not jinx it ;)

and i feel so bad saying this but i think i'm no longer a movie maniac :( it's been forever since i've watched a movie or gone to the cinema! feeling very out of touch with the current entertainment news/industry and as dramatic and jaw dropping as this is for you ppl who knew the old me, i'm going to try and treat this as a good thing! and only time will tell if this is some temporary phase of mine.

i definitely have more to say but i think i'll stop here simply because i have loads to do before tomorrow. but i want to definitely blog more frequently again, so readers who are still there, don't give up on me yet!
